31 Day Nail Challenge- J's Day 16

So I was sooooooo excited for today's nails :) I think tribal nails are awesome and i've been dying to try them out! I started with three coats of Essie's Limo-Scene and then used a bunch of different colours which I will post a picture of at the end. I hope you guys like this as much as I do !

From left to right: Black/white nail art brushes, French White, Essie's Limo-Scene,  Charlotte Russe (there's no name sorry!) and finally Essie's Turquoise and Caicos
Thanks for looking guys!

31 Day Nail Challenge - C's Day 14

Yay flower nails!!! I have been looking forward to this cute one.  I would just like to say that adding the sparkles on top was not the best idea I have had, It made some of the flowers very difficult to see in the pictures.  It looks great in real life with the sparkles though!! I actually used all the colours from the OPI Nicki Minaj mini package (Did It On 'Em, Fly, Pink Friday, and Save Me).  All of these flowers make me want spring to come (although the weather might as well make it spring).  Short post from me today, I have an assignment and some studying to do still before bed!

JA close up of the flowers because they were hard to get with the camera.

31 Day Nail Challenge - C's Day 13

My nails broke so I wasn't able to due a lot of fun animal print on them due to lack of space. :( I decided to go with tiger stripes.  I used June's orange, OPI's On The Right Paige and Sally Hanson's Xtreme Wear in Black.  I did these really quick and could have done way better, sorry guys, I have so much school stuff to do.  After midterms I'll do waaaay more intricate designs. Promise.

31 Day Nail Challenge- J's Day 15

Yey !! Finally 100% caught up on the challenge. And almost half-way through.. february is already going by so quickly. So today's nails were 'delicate print'. This is pretty vague and I know most people do some sort of lace-related design. I thought I would try something different though, and here's what I went with:

For this look I started with two coats of OPI from the Texas line San Tan-tonio and then stamped on half of a flower stamp. I really like this mani :)
Tomorrow will be my first attempt at tribal nails, and i'm nervous but super excited. Stay tuned!

31 Day Nail Challenge- J's Day 14

I'm finally getting caught up on these posts :)
For flower nails, I wanted to use some of my 'fauxnad' stamps from Born Pretty Store. I started with two coats of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in White On, and then used a medley of flower stamps in Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Mint Sprint and Instant Iris, as well as Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Pacific Blue. I finished off with an Orly top coat.

Just realizing now that I did a very poor clean-up job on these haha. Sorry about that! Can't wait till Caroline posts her flower nails, I saw the pics just now on her camera and they are awesome :)

31 Day Nail Challenge- J's Day 13

animal print!!
I already used a zebra print in an earlier post during the challenge, so I tried to do something a bit different. I wasn't really sure what I was going to do. I started by using elf's neon colours, in pink green and yellow. I painted them on my nails first, and they were surprisingly opaque. The yellow took three coats but that was expected. Then I basically just went to town on my nails with some stripe rite nail art polishes, in black. pink, and white.

I hope you guys liked these! I really enjoyed doing this.

31 Day Nail Challenge - J's Day 12

I had nooo idea what to do for striped nails, but once I started with the navy blue base coat I decided to try the sailor-themed mani. Here's some pics

Sorry for the bad quality pictures, these were taken on my phone.
I used china glaze First Mate, Essie Fifth Avenue (the red) and a white stripe rite.
